Happy June everyone! I know I am a little late with this post seeing as though today is June 3rd, but better late than never right? I have so many things I want to accomplish this month because I start summer school on July 9th. I am so excited and nervous about it, and I want to get as much done in June as possible in case I am
totally freaked out a little overwhelmed in July. My goals this month will have to do with all aspects of my life, and I will check back in at the end of the month to see how I did. So here goes nothin’…
1. Start my Body by V shakes and drink them for breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday.
I don’t know if I have mentioned it here, but I am hoping to start trying for another little Marshall in August. I am not at a good weight to try and get pregnant, so I would like to try to see how much I can lose in the 2 months before then. I will drink the shakes for breakfast and lunch with a snack between meals, then have a sensible dinner with my family. I am hoping that I can lose 20 to 30 pounds before we actually start trying in August.
2. Keep track of calories eaten with my Fitday app.
Even though I will be drinking the shakes, I want to make sure my body is getting the appropriate amount of calories and nutrition so I can lose weight the healthy way and be more likely to keep it off. If I want to lose 2 pounds a week I can have up to 1700 calories a day, according to fitday, and I want to make sure I am eating the proper amount of fruit and veggies. I really want to do this next pregnancy right. I gained 60, count ’em, 60 pounds with Jase all because I used that stupid excuse, “I’m eating for 2!” What a load of malarkey that was. It turns out a pregnant woman only needs about 200 extra calories a day…no wonder I gained so much eating fried pickles and drinking Dr. Pepper…everyday…sometimes more than once a day.
3. Read the Pretties, and finish books 2 and 3 of the 50 Shades of Grey series.
One of my major goals for this summer was to read for me. I like to read during the year, but I don’t get to do as much of it as I would like when the school year starts. I plan to fully make up for that this summer. I have already read so much more this summer than I did last summer, and I would like to continue that trend. 4. Keep you guys updated at least 3 times a week.
I really do want to get into the habit of updating this here bloggy thing at east 3 times a week with good quality content. I love my little corner on the interwebs, and I love the feedback I get from you guys! I have lots of fun things planned for June like Finding My scrappy style series A to Z with Lain Eihman from layoutaday.com, and a 20 Days to a more Organized home with Money Saving Mom.
